Meadowgate PTA

PTA

Meadowgate Academy has a PTA!

We are a small group of interested, enthusiastic parents and staff and we have formed a
PTA (Parent Teacher Association) With your help we might do more ...

What we are doing

The PTA is raising funds for the school and is a joint effort involving parents, kids, carers and staff. It's a great way for us all to come together, giving our youngsters opportunities and having fun in the process. Funds raised by the PTA are intended to  go towards  the 'extras' not provided by the school's main income - often 'fun things' that make learning more interesting and exciting. The PTA also organise activities and events that give pupils (and the siblings), parents and staff opportunities to socialise together whilst fundraising.

Aims of the Meadowgate Academy PTA are:

  •          to invite every parent, carer, teacher, staff at the school to become an active member  or friendly supporter of the PTA
  •          to work together  to raise as much money as possible for the school by organising a range of events and activities throughout the school year
  •          to create valuable opportunities to allow us all to contribute to the social  life of the school by having fun together, meet other parents, carers and staff and make new friends
  •          to hold events with minimal expenditure and therefore maximising the fundraising opportunities.

How can you help?

There are numerous ways you can get involved. The best way is to attend our meetings which are published on the website.  If you can't make it to the meeting, it's OK, you can still be involved. Any help is much appreciated. We have a suggestion box in the parents room and welcome any ideas or offers of help or you can drop us an email at meadowgatepta@gmail.com .

The next big event we are organising is the Summer Fayre on Saturday 24 June 2017. We would appreciate help with our stall(s) on the day. Please come along to our meetings – we would love to hear from you.
